Social Investment Initiative

As part of our social Investment programs, we make a significant commitment to sustainable community development initiatives that have a direct impact on the socio-economic development of our host communities. These social investment activities align with the UN’s SDGs. we are focused on 7 of the UN’s SDG 1 (No poverty), 3 (Good Health and well-being), 4 (Quality education), 5 (Gender Equality), 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), 8 (Decent work & Economic Growth) 17(Partnership) in our partnership initiatives and social investment opportunities.

Initiatives

  1. Education: Infrastructural upgrades of primary and secondary schools, Scholarships programs, Bursary awards
  2. Health care: Donation of Heath equipment, upgrade and nurturing of health facilities and support for health insurance programs
  3. Employment: Active advocacy and seeking of decent jobs and contracts for community stakeholders from our operations
  4. Infrastructural Development: Intervention in community economic infrastructure like roads, electrification upgrades, roads, water facilities, etc

Blessing is a beneficiary of the community based skills acquisition programme, funded by the NNPC/HHOG Joint Venture (JV).

The Mbodo Community Rural Electrification Project is one of several Electricity infrastructure upgrades, across Ikwerre, Etche, and Obio Akpor LGA financed by the NNPC/HHOG Joint Venture (JV)
